Bishop Alexander John Malik requested Muslims not to call us ISAHI.

By (CCnews Portal) 25^th Feb,2007. Bishop Alexander John Malik Has requested The Muslims of Pakistan not to call Christians as Isahi but Christians or Masihi. Giving interview to Pakistan Television Bishop Alexander has already requested that we are Christian (Masih) but not Isahi and Christians feel awkward when they are called Isahi. Remember that Pakisatni Muslims call Isahi to Christians instead of Christian or Masihi.

Act of 295-c is a sword of Death for Christians.

(ccnews-portal) The act of 295-c was passed in 1986 by the president General Zia-Ul-Haq. According to this act if any one say any word against Islam or Hazrat Mohammad , he or she will be sentenced to death. It is called “Blasphemy”

Unfortunately, this act has been using wrongly since its promulgation. It is Christian community that is highly effected by this act. So there are many evidence that Muslims used this act of 295-c for their personal enmity and revenge. Many innocent have been killed and many have been jailed. The extremist Muslims kill the accused of Blasphemy before he or she goes to jail . In 4^th September,1999 one Judge “Justice Mian Nazirr Akhtar” from Lahore High court said while presiding the secession of “International Serat Forum” that accused of Blasphemy is killable ( It is imposed on Muslims to kill that accused ) and there is no need of any law.

So Christians consider 295-c a sword of death for them.

From 1991 to till now round about 18 cases have been reported to court. May have been killed before they are charged by court.

Five Christians Tahir Iqbal, waseem Masih, Bantoo Massih, Namat Ahmar and Manzoor Masih were killed even before the court decision was taken.

In 1993 Tahir Iqbal was accused Blasphemy only because he left Islam and embarrassed Christianity. Waseem Masih who was also accused of Blasphemy ,he was given poison in the jail in 1991.Bantoo Masih was also killed in the same case in 1991 in police station by one so-called Muslim. In 1991 chand Barkat from city of Karachi was also jiled in the same case. In 1992 one Christian teacher was also jailed.

Salamat Masih ,Manzoor Masih and Rahamt masih were likked by the firing of extremist Muslims while they were in police custody. Similarly many cases have been occurred .

Rev.Fr.Francis Nadeem, Bishop Alexander Malik , Bishop Azraih , Shahabaz Bhatti (Leader of Christian Minorities) and many other Christian leaders and Protestant Pastors have make request for the eradication of this act.

Ex-President Banazir Bhatto and President Pervaiz Musharraf have condemned this act of 295-c

In 1988 and 1993 the reign of Lady President Banazir bhatto took admirable step and tried to eradicate this act but the Muslims including most powerful personalities protested this policy and didn’t let her to change this act.Remember that Ex-President Banazir Bhatto called it religious terrorism and called 295-c act against the Human rights.

Similarly the reign of President Pervaiz Musharaaf has brought hope to Christians in the respect of 295-c .

Anyhow he tried hard in making change in Blasphemy case reporting and proceeding . which is ray of hope for Christians.

Hasba Bill will encourage Talibanisation, says APMA.

(Peshawar, ccnews,portal) The All Pakistan Minorties Alliance (APMA) on Sunday protested against the Hasba Bill, calling it “a riligous martial law”.APMA Chairman Shahbaz Bhatti said the bill” will make minorties’lives miserable” especially their women’s. It is a religious martial law which will affect the personal and family laws of minorities”he said.

Shahbaz Bhatti said an “extremist mohtasib” would disrupt peace in cociety, adding that he Hasba Bill had instigated fear and unrest among the minorities of province.

He said that Hasba Bill will encourge Talibanisation. Bhatti urged the NWFP government not to sign the bill because it did not safeguard the minorities; rights. He said APMA would raise its voice at all levels in a peaceful and democratic manner against the “Unconstitutional and undemocratic “ Hasba Bill. The APMA staged the demonstration in front of the Peshawar press club. Representatives of all minority groups: chrsitian,Hindu, the Balmeek schedule caste, Sikh, Parssi, Bahai and Kalash protested against the bill. Members of the Awami National Part (ANP) and the Pakistan people’s party-parliamentarians (PPP)also participated in the demonstration.

In his interview he told the latest development of “Hasba Bill” That it was Government who went to supreme court and three days before the decision was taken by the 8-member SC bench that there are three charter in “Hasba Bill” that are totally against Human rights and all minorities.

Pakistan Government Ponders to Add Jesus ...

The Government of Pakistan is pondering to add Chapter of Jesus Christ in the book of ethics.

It was a shocked to read the English text book for 10th class.( School level book) which was published by the government of Punjab on 2004. As the matter of fact, in the addition of 2003, there was the lesson No.2 “FESTIVALS OF PAKISTAN” . And in this lesson the festival of Christians “ Christmas” was also mentioned with detail. Now the Christmas as a festival of Pakistan has been omitted from this lesson. Why is it not festival of Pakistan? Is it not celebrated in Pakistan?

On the other hand there is book “Ethics” for Christian instead of Islamic studies. It has been published for Christian “MINORITIES OF PAKISTAN” All the religion and the prophets of the world are mentioned in this book except Christianity and Jesus Christ. Why is it so? The Book of ethics is for the minorities of Pakistan. Christian are the largest minorities of Pakistan, and their religion hasn’t been mentioned .Why?

Christian community including teachers and students are highly thankful to “ Rev.Fr.Frncis Nadeem”and all students and teachers who have put their best effort to let the government know about this crucial matter. Rev.Fr.Francis Nadeem held meeting in Lahore press club in 2006 and invited all Pakistani media so they could know about this situation.

Fr. Francis Nadeem directly talked with education minister of Pakistan about this matter.

Now it is pleasure to know that the Government of Pakistan has started pondering on this matter and has announced that the omitted chapter and chapter of Jesus Christ will be mentioned in the book of ethic.

Pakistani Christians Thank President Pervaiz Musharraf on taking quick action on attacked church.

Pakistan Authorities investigate local church fire.

The church was attacked by the three extremist Muslims . They set the church on fire on 25th of December after Night Christmas meeting but unfortunately the fire could not capture the whole material of the church properly and so only carpet, cross, table and other things of these type were burnt. Local people at the spot came and extinguished the fire. Other wise it would have caused severe damage for the church. It is doubted that Lashkara-e- Taiba is involved in this attack as the Christian community and church is also surrounded by the extremist group which was actually banned by Pakistani Government after 9/11 attack. All burnt things are under police custody. Anyhow the criminals have not been arrested till now. The church Babu George and all town have given witness that three Muslims have done it and have been seen on spot.

On the Other hand, Christian people are very thankful to President Pervaiz Musharraf for taking quick action about this incident and are satisfy with Police regular investigation.

Strangest Punish by judicial Court to Criminal of 100 Children.

Lahore(Representative Nadeem,CCnews)The Pakistani High Court criticized the case of two criminals Mr. Sabir and Javid Iqbal on the request of Human rights “ Asma Jahangir’. High Court criticized Judicial Court who ordered the strangest punishment to Criminal Javaid Iqbal . Judicail Court Sentenced him to death for 100 times and ordered that his body be tore into 100 pieces and be thrown his dead body pieces into acid.

This was the strangest punishment ever given by any Pakistani Court. The High Court also criticized that before ordering them punished ,this case should be handed over to High Court. Remember that Murderer Javid Iqbal Committed Suicide in the Jail .

Pakistani teenager barely escapes death at the hands of her family!

Diana grew up in a strict Islamic family in Pakistan. Her life was pretty typical until she met a girl named Mary who was a Christian. Now Diana is also a Christian and on the run.

When Diana's family learned that she had become a Christian, they repeatedly beat her and insisted she return to Islam. But Diana refused. She was then forced to a local canal where her uncle put a pistol to her head and gave her one last chance to return to Islam. Diana replied, "You can kill me if you want. I will not leave Christ."

It was then that Diana's uncle noticed an extremely poisonous black cobra swimming in the canal. Believing he could escape any prosecution for his niece's death, he threw her into the path of the cobra. He also knew she could not swim.

Diana miraculously escaped from the canal and is in hiding today. She is a new Christian but has already learned what it means to suffer for Christ. She recently told The Voice of the Martyrs, "Jesus was crucified for us. Can we not endure some of the same for Him?"

Pakistan awaiting report on terror attack on train

NEW DELHI : Pakistan is awaiting a report from the Indian Government on the twin blasts that rocked the Delhi-Attari Express, killing 68 persons, mostly Pakistanis, its Foreign Minister Khursheed Mehmood Kasuri said on arrival here on Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters after visiting the injured at the Safdarjung Hospital, Mr. Kasuri said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, in a conversation with his Pakistani counterpart Shaukat Aziz, promised to share any information that the Indian authorities get on Sunday's killings.

ALWARA MANDI, Pakistan - Protected from frostbite by thick rubber boots, the Pakistani soldiers shivering on these remote mountains on the Afghan frontier know that when the snow melts their job will only get harder.

Under international pressure to stop a Taliban spring offensive that threatens Afghanistan , Pakistan is planning to fence small sections of this vast rugged frontier despite widespread skepticism that it will be effective.

"It‘s easy to cross," said Maj. Mohammed Fazl, a 35-year-old commander of a clutch of lookouts on a frigid pass through the forested mountains. "There is a lot of cover and if they are in a valley it‘s hard to pick them up. They know the ground very well, because this is where they are from."
