Pakistan Government Ponders to Add Jesus ...

The Government of Pakistan is pondering to add Chapter of Jesus Christ in the book of ethics.

It was a shocked to read the English text book for 10th class.( School level book) which was published by the government of Punjab on 2004. As the matter of fact, in the addition of 2003, there was the lesson No.2 “FESTIVALS OF PAKISTAN” . And in this lesson the festival of Christians “ Christmas” was also mentioned with detail. Now the Christmas as a festival of Pakistan has been omitted from this lesson. Why is it not festival of Pakistan? Is it not celebrated in Pakistan?

On the other hand there is book “Ethics” for Christian instead of Islamic studies. It has been published for Christian “MINORITIES OF PAKISTAN” All the religion and the prophets of the world are mentioned in this book except Christianity and Jesus Christ. Why is it so? The Book of ethics is for the minorities of Pakistan. Christian are the largest minorities of Pakistan, and their religion hasn’t been mentioned .Why?

Christian community including teachers and students are highly thankful to “ Rev.Fr.Frncis Nadeem”and all students and teachers who have put their best effort to let the government know about this crucial matter. Rev.Fr.Francis Nadeem held meeting in Lahore press club in 2006 and invited all Pakistani media so they could know about this situation.

Fr. Francis Nadeem directly talked with education minister of Pakistan about this matter.

Now it is pleasure to know that the Government of Pakistan has started pondering on this matter and has announced that the omitted chapter and chapter of Jesus Christ will be mentioned in the book of ethic.
