Women's Quota In Parliament an Issue

Women should be given 10 percent quota representation to Minorities in Women Parliament.

Holiday be announced on Minorities Festivals like Christmas, Easter, Dawali and Basakhi.

(Correspondent CCNews Portal) Lahore. Khalid Gill Organizer APMA has requested the Government of Pakistan that Women should be given 10 percent quota representation to Minorities in Women Parliament. Holidays on Christmas, Easter, Dawali and Basakhi. should be announced like Muslims festivals of Eid-ul-Aza and Eid-ul-fiter .And all un equal laws be demolished against minorities. He said all this while giving interview to correspondent of ccnews.

Correct census be done of Christians.

He also said that correct census should be held again of Christians (Minorities). And 10 percent quota be allocated to Minorities for Jobs. Doors are closed for minorities in senate so 5 percent seats must be allocated for minorities in senate. Christians are in majority in 59 circles of Pakistan so all political parties should elect minority representative in these circles.

Khalid Gill Organizer APMA also vows that terminated chief Justice seat be restore. He said that APMA also condemn the torture on lawyers and Media.

He said that APMA is one of the sole party for Minorites that our network is in four provinces . 2 lac and fifty thousand workers of APMA now working under the supervision of APMA leader Mr. Shahbaz Bhatti.

NEW DELHI, April 21 — With uncertainty still looming large on the fate of Women’s Reservation Bill, the Election Commission today suggested that political parties put up a minimum agreed percentage of women candidates in Assembly and Parliamentary elections to enjoy recognition and privileges.
